Early Dawn Dairy Farm Retirement Auction Auction Location: 3793 Cow Path Lane, Charlottesville VA 22901 Auction Type: Online Bidding Only Preview Times: Thursday Oct 8 from 3-5 PM or other times by appointment Auction Closes: Thursday Oct 8 Beginning at 7 PM Scheduled Pickups: Friday and Saturday Oct 9-10. All items must be removed from property within 10 Days Early Dawn Dairy has a long history in Albemarle County VA and was the last remaining commercial dairy in the county. But now they have sold the farm and the cows. All that's left to do is sell the equipment and machinery which we are doing in this auction. In this auction we also have some select consignments from neighboring farmers and a local estate. This is your opportunity to buy some classic or more modern equipment from manufacturers such as John Deere, Minneapolis Moline, International, Case IH, NDE, Delaval, Bush Hog, Kubota and more. Dump trucks, tractors, rotary cutters, skid loader, forage and hay equipment, livestock equipment, milking equipment, tools, and much more. A few more items will be added over the next two weeks. Preview and Pickup Information: Preview for this auction will be Thursday Oct 8 from 3 to 5 PM at other times by appointment. Address is 3793 Cow Path Lane Charlottesville VA 22901 . Pickup with loader assistance will be scheduled with the winning bidders on Friday and Saturday Oct 9-10. All items must be paid for no later than noon on October 12 and all items must be removed from the property by Oct 18. Pickup for large items can be arranged can be arranged in the week following the auction. Shipping is not available for this auction. This is an online only auction which will begin to close on Oct 8 at 7:00 PM at the rate of 3 lots per minute with a 1 minute auto extend. That means if a bid is placed within the last minute for any lot the time for that lot will be extended for one more minute. Terms of the Sale: Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items except titled vehicles and trailers unless the buyer provides a valid retail or farm sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made. Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds. Payment: Cash, Credit or Debit Card (3% Fee Applies), Wire Transfer, and Good Check are approved methods of payment. This online only auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, wire transfer, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property.
